Getting my appointment was slow, lots of rescheduling because of last minute unavailability from TOTD, but finally got there. Overall 3 stars for this service, saved by the guy who came, as he was very friendly, professional and got the job done as needed - Can't fault the onsite service.

Fitting was shocking glue visible hub cap not put on properly tyre was green car was drove by the technician with a completely flat tyre so I complained and after some broken promises they sent someone around to rectify the problem who actually knew what they were doing note to Halfords don’t employ cowboys…

We booked to have two tyre changed by TyresOnTheDrive, we picked Monday and selected 8am-8pm. I organised for someone to be available to give the guy the wheels as we had removed them from the car already.
On the Monday morning I get a totally illegible voicemail message left on my phone and an email asking me to contact them, I phoned the number and was advised the person who was coming to change my tyres had phoned in sick and that they had no one available to do the tyres till the following day.
The advisor was not helpful and didn't understand booking for a specific day was done for a reason, I had to rearrange various things at a great inconvenience to me, but that was perfectly ok with them as they did not have anyone who could come and do the tyres anyway.
On the day the guy turned up and was not happy to change the tyres as the wheels are a three piece wheel, with a chrome rim, he eventually agreed to do the wheel and did to be honest a good job.
Would I use this service again? Probably not as I have had a bad experience, the tyres were not the cheapest available on the web but as I know Halfords I thought I would give it a whirl. Will be going back to National Tyres me thinks.

Your customer service is appalling. Your technician was late, rude and I felt threatened by his behaviour.
He was making inappropriate comments about work I had recently had done on my car. Swearing from the moment he arrived, and threw my tyre and wheel around in his van whilst swearing when I had ask him to take care as I had just had them refurbed.
The tyres are exactly what I ordered but I will never use you again.
I have also emailed you about this before the review and you asked me to call, should you not be calling me!!
Update …. So I was promised a call four days ago and have heard nothing! What else should I expect

Excellent service. Arrived in time slot and changed tyre quickly and efficently. Only thing was didnt ring to say on way like said in email but you can track order and wouldve liked my spare tyre put back in boot as if my husband wasnt there i couldnt have lifted it

I ordered two rear tyres. Guy turned up and immediately said “what are you having the rear done for as the front one is knackered”. What I think he meant was the passenger front tread was running a little low which I knew about. He then changed the tyres at break neck speed. When he was going i noticed he was going to leave the old tyres dumped by the side of the road. After a few “words of explanation” he moved them. Then I drove the car and immediately found that the balancing hadn’t been done properly. I had to get a new fitter back who did a superb job. The last experience wasn’t a good one but I’ve had a tyre fitted since and this was a perfect job.

The tyres were incorrectly inflated at 26 and 28.5 psi. The correct pressure is 32 psi.

Disappointed in that despite asking the technicians if they had equipment to program the vehicle to the battery before works took place. They said it did not need to take place. Post fitting battery numerous DTC faults were displayed on the vehicle making it undrivable until these were cleared. Another technician had to scramble out with the necessary kit to clear down the faults. Unless I hadn't pressed this would have occurred the next day. All technicians should have the correct tools to complete the job.
